Nämforsen hällristningar — Attraction in Sollefteå kommun

The most wonderful place to see rockart with water rushing down Nämforsen waterfalls, beatifuls views over the river and the two other rock islans containing rockart. These others are not open to the public as they are situated amidst the rushes and hard to reach by boat. We even took our chances to cool or feet in the icy water and sunbathe with 30°C this summer. This is some engravings in rock from Nordic Stone Age, they have been quite interested in elks and moose's at that time. More so even then oil and gas executives of our day since they feelt like bragging about their feats hunting, for a literal eternity. Well worth watching and listening to the massive sound of the nearby river at the same time. One needs to ask oneself who these people where, they seem to have come here in what looks like some version om Greek triremes, they definitely uses javelins for hunting, maybe this is where Odysseus went...
