There are lots of shops and restaurants along this about 1000m long pier. The most famous and also most beautiful is at the end: The picturesque colorful boat houses at the foot of the Ängebacken cliff. The closer you get to town, the busier it gets. There are several shops, many big brands. But many also overpriced. Nice to look at, but nothing I needed. But this pier for me wasn't about shopping anyway. It's more something to see (or to be seen), and for that it's a wonderful place. Walking along the countless yachts and sailboats. I wonder how they get out if they want to. Because there are three, four boats parked next to. But it's sure a nice sight.

At the end of the pier, on the square in the east, there are more restaurants offering good and fresh fish and seafood.

We parked just above the Ängebacken cliff with the boat houses. There's a Minigolf with a smaller parking lot (pay per App), but it's surely the best parking location and prices...

Very beautiful but beware the parking ! We paid with the app and still received a ticket (800 sek+ the actual amount we paid fair and square, totally unfair !!) have to go to the "nearest" police station... Lysekil or Uddevala to contest. This really trashed our day despite the lovely harbour.

Other than that there is a nice walk on the rocks at the very edge with a view of...

Quite disappointed at this spot. I was expecting it to be lively and nice since I’ve seen this quite a lot when they mention Smögen but when we came there it looks dull. Maybe because it was the end of the walk way and there’s nothing more to see after this spot. I think it’s more beautiful on pictures than reality. 🤷🏽‍♀️
