Här finns nog allt man kan tänka sig om slussarnas och kanalens historia. Gamla dokument, illustrerade planscher, modeller på slussar och kanalen och många olika båtmodeller. En 13 minuter lång film om kanalens och slussarnas byggnation historia. Inträdet är gratis och toalett finns vid entrén.

This local museum is a very interesting exhibit of the history of the Göta Kanal and has a lot of big and tiny ship models, maps, documents & other historical artifacts. The short film is very informative. You should also walk the steep, narrow and rocky path down the original canal locks to get an appreciation of the amount of labour & money spent to construct this difficult section...
