A cozy place that brings you back in history. They have guided tours intp rooms decorated like they were when the castle was still used as a castle (you can find the times on their website) They also have a café with seating in rooms decorated to suit the castle and also outdoor seats in both sun and shade. The café offers a variety of salads, pies and cookies as well as cool drinks after a walk the park under the summer sun. The prices are slightly expensive but to be expected. I'd say it's worth it since eating there is almost a experience itself. The park is well taken care of but my favourite part are the stones which are located arpund the park and all hold a little history behind them. Can you...

Tyresö slott is a beautiful place. There is a castle which was built in 1800s and the park around the castle is extraordinary. Plenty of old trees, walking paths, water, grass covered fields, footbridge, cafe and lots of birds. A must visit if you are in the area. There is a parking place right outside the main entrance to the park. As of March 2019, first 30 mins is free and then 1 hour costs 8 SEK. But next to Tyresö kyrka bus stop, there is a free parking place. From there, its a 500 meters walk to the park main entrance. There is a free toilet for the visitors right next...

The beautiful Castle Of Tyresö! Its one of the pearls in Södertörn and it has a long and fantastic history. One of the stories are that when the Russians came during troubled times, The staff of the castle burnt the windows and ruffed it up so the lookout from the ships thought the Castle already had been ransacked and they sailed on!, FOOLS! Now a days its open after 12, and have a nice restaurant and a small Café out on the island. The Russians still come, but now they only ransack the Cafeteria! Bloody...

Beautiful place to relax, walk and enjoy the nature. There is also was wedding, bride and groom were taking photos during our visit. Not so far you can find a lake- you can swim there, also a cafe. Atmosphere there is so calm. I recommend to visit this place. We were with strollers and it was easy to walk around. There is parking which is really close to castle (prices on attached photo). You can find one more parking 7-10 minutes walk. Near church is 3 hours of free parking for church visitors.

This is the pride of Tyresö. The castle has special visiting hours with guide tours and a fee to enter. It is just as interesting and fantastic to walk in the park around the castle. A so called "English Park". Extremely beautiful with it's trees, paths, the water, plenty of places to sit. In the castle there is a cafeteria. There's also a planstshop on its premises. A place to stroll, ponder, enjoy the nature. It's a magical place. Highly recommended.
