Vandalorum — Attraction in Värnamo kommun

It is hard to imagine what could possibly be worse. A fantastic building filled with uninspired exhibitions. The discrepancy between the, obviously, huge investment and quality of the end result is so mind blowing - it verges on art.

It's somehow telling that most of the reviews on this mammoth investment of a museum - are regarding the quality of food in the restaurant. ....That really sums it up - whether or not the food is up to standard is way more interesting than anything the museum...

The vandalorum is a very interesting combination of traditional Scandinavian architecture and changing modern / special exhibitions. I visited the „art of necessity“ exhibition and it was very interesting. The rooms are perfectly designed as well and the exhibition was interactive (you can also design something while you’re there). As previously stated - incredible food! The price is a bit towards the higher end, but it is an art gallery after all, and the clientele looked like they could afford it.
