📍 Oberberghorn Observation Deck – Schynige Platte, Bernese Oberland, Switzerland 🇨🇭 An incredible viewpoint deck 🏔️ just above Schynige Platte with sweeping 360° alpine panoramas. From here you can see Lakes Thun & Brienz 🌊, the Lauterbrunnen Valley, and the mighty Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau ⛰️. The short hike up is steep but well-marked 🥾, and the deck makes it easy to safely enjoy the views and take amazing photos 📸. A must-stop for hikers and photographers—one of the best lookout points in the Bernese Oberland. 🙌

Chanced upon this big rock while out on a walk because we had some time to kill before dinner. Might look a bit scary from far but it is not a difficult hike from the train station with a pretty good view of Interlaken and the 2 lakes from the top! Definitely well worth the effort.

An amazing spot while hiking the Platte. The stairs and path leading to this are the hardest part of the hike but so worth it. From the other peak/observation spot this took us less than an hour to reach and this includes lots of stopping and taking photos.

A beautiful and undemanding walk from the train station. To reach the top, there are stairs and a suspended walkway (you don't need to be afraid of heights). Beautiful 360-degree views. It's a mountain trail, so appropriate footwear is recommended; sneakers are definitely not...
