Adventurous scenic and fun ridge trail. Requires some easy climbing (marked as T3 difficulty). The hardest part is the first ascent (if starting at Eggishorn), which is like an easy via ferrata. You dont need a harness though. You dont need any experience. The last part (down to Bettmerhorn cable car station) is well secured with ropes. Though be sure to only do this trail in dry weather. During the hike you have a constant view of Aletsch.

A nice surprise! We had expected the Höhenweg to be an easy hiking trail over a ridge, but it was more scrambling than we expected. Nothing technical though and on a clear dry day like ours definitely suitable for all reasonably fit people. It took us about 3 hours to finish, much longer than anticipated, but the views are amazing, so we took our time taking photos and having lunch as well.

Nice path. Check the weather before leaving. Be careful the "dark side" of the ridge may be icy and slippery. Control the timetables of the cableway before starting. You do not need to be so trained, but at least a bit sporty.
