Mall of Switzerland — Attraction in Ebikon

This mall is dead. Very unfortunate for the employees. I also understand why no one would want to do their groceries there and here is why:

It's a nightmare to get from A to B and if you also need to get to point C, you most probably will have to ask staff members at the info desk where to find it. There's no layout plan anywhere, toilet gender signs look confusing as hell (especially for women) and the severe lack of customers makes you feel like a nuisance. The employees to customers ratio is approximately 10:1. Every tenth shop had maybe one customer, two at maximum!!

Oh yeah, parking fee is astronomically high, ticket machines are hidden in some corner of the mall, elevator cabines have no buttons, so you need to select the floor before you enter. Whoever was responsible for the interior should never be allowed to design anything ever again.

[I just need to review my previous evaluation, because my previous 4 stars where due to the lack of alternatives in terms of shopping stores. Lately a lot of new shops have opened here like Zara, etc.. so I can now rate Mall with top 5 Stars 😉. Congratulations for the improvement 💪]

good for shopping. well located. you will find almost everything in here that you may be looking for. close to the train station Buchrain. car parking is expensive. [edited-no longer observed] - shops offer is a bit limited when compared to others in the region.

There is absolutely nothing unique about this mall.

There arent any shops which you wouldnt find in any smaller city in Switzerland. Restaurant choices are very limited.

Closing at 4 p.m. on a Saturday is an absolute no-go especially when calling yourself "Mall of Switzerland". Small villages in the region have their shops open for several hours longer than the "Mall". Even during the weeks prior to Christmas no exception are made.

Furthermore, only one ticket pay machine per parking level leading to very long queues (not to forget: while queuing you are also being charged at an overpriced rate). Parking is a huge mess and requires employees to guide cars to the exits. Never seen such a thing before...
