The 2 trails to Il Spir observation platform: 1. Flims Waldhaus to Il Spir: Length: 3.5 km one-way Duration: Around 1.5 hours one-way, depending on your pace and the stops you take. Start at Flims Waldhaus. Follow signs towards "Conn". The trail is a mix of forest paths and gravel roads, passing through beautiful woodlands and open areas. Along the way, you'll pass the Caumasee, a stunning turquoise lake, which makes for a great stop. 2. Conn to Il Spir: Length: 1 km one-way Duration: About 20-30 minutes one-way From Conn, follow the clear signage pointing towards Il Spir. The trail is mostly flat and easy, suitable for all ages and skill levels.

Easiest and shortest way to get to this beauty is to park your car at Caumasee parking lot, then follow the hiking signs for Caumasse then the one for Conn or Aussichtsplattform. It‘s definitely an easy one to do alone or with family and even small kids as the road there is well made to go with strollers. A part from the beautiful view you will find at the end of this hike you can admire the beautiful nature till there from the beautiful mini Swiss orchids which are protected and don’t forget if you come in summer to look for the butterflies 🦋🦋🦋 you will find plenty and some are also friendly enough to rest on your fingers. This viewpoint allows you to watch in splendour the amazong landscapes that surround you! I visited in December and even though it was quite cold, the hike kept us all warmed up. As I mentioned the landscapes are truly amazing, magnificent mountains and forests! I would advise to wear some comfortable shoes and clothing so that you can enjoy this splendid place and not feel tired nor concerned about your feet. Definitely a place to visit again in the near future!

An astonishing view of the Rhuinaulta and the mountains beyond! The platform is in the peaceful forest, with no tourist-trappy kiosk nearby (but a restaurant within walking distance). I went in March and was all by myself; certainly a luxury that can't be expected in summer. I tend to have a bit of a problem with heights, but this construction felt so safe that I found myself taking pictures over the railing without a second thought.

A very pleasant trekking route from Caumasee Lake. About 40 minutes walking through dense forest and then emerging onto more open areas with old huts like those from an open-air museum. Unfortunately, we encountered quite a heavy rain when we reached the viewpoint itself, so we weren't amazed by the canyon view, but the route to that point was really enjoyable.

Beautiful place! Must to visit if you come in Flims. The way from DeliCious Flims ( a coffe terase from where i start which is close to parking places ) its around 45 min to go and 45 to come back. You can find by Maps many ways to arrive to. All of them are really nice, by the Forrest, passing along the Caumasee which ist an incredible lake ❤️
