Restaurant Conn — Restaurant in Flims

A really disappointing experience. First time I tried to get in was in summer. Whole restaurant and Terrasse were full. Staff told us to wait in front of the entrance until a table will be free. Once some guests were leaving and we wanted to take a table, another people from around the corner showed up, where the main waiting line was. So we ended up arguing and eventually left. Last week I was taking a walk over there and wanted to give it another chance. With free table at the terrace was no problem. But service crew was somehow missing several time the requests, I had to wait and ask again twice. And the food was really bad. I ordered Polenta with mushrooms. It was written like that in the menu, but one slice of Polenta was mixed with some cheese. In another slice I've found something, I still can't identify (light blue, a bit fibrous). Mushrooms were not tasty at all and the whole thing had a weird flavor. Especially pity, because this place is one of the stops on the "gourmet path" over there. I ate only a bit and left. Never return...

Ich war heute zum Mittagessen mit meiner Freundin im Restaurant Conn. Eigentlich gehen wir dort immer essen, wenn wir in Flims oder am Caumasee sind, aber nach dem heutigen Erlebnis werden wir definitiv nicht wiederkommen. Vielleicht das Positive zuerst, das Restaurant ist wunderschön gelegen und das Essen war auch gut. Jedoch schmeckt auch das beste Essen nicht mehr, wenn der Service und vor allem das Verhalten eines Servicemitarbeiters absolut unterirdisch ist!! Gemeint ist der Herr mit Glatze, der im Aussenbereich bedient hat. Sein Verhalten ist für einen Job mit Kontakt zu Gästen oder Kunden absolut inakzeptabel und geschäftsschädigend! Eine dermaßen unfreundliche Bedienung ist mir bisher noch nie begegnet. Er war schon schlecht gelaunt als wir nach einem Tisch gefragt haben und hat uns direkt den Eindruck vermittelt, dass er uns im Restaurantbereich nicht haben will… Aufgrund der vielen Wespen an diesem Tag haben wir höflich gefragt, ob man auch einen Tisch im Innenbreich haben könnte und dann ging es los… nach so einer harmlosen Frage wurden wir dermaßen angeschnauzt von diesem Herrn, dass ich ihm am liebsten sofort eine Ohrfeige verpasst hätte… unmöglich!!!! Und das war kein Einzelfall, quasi parallel hat sich eine andere Besucherin über ihn beim Inhaber beschwert und mich daraufhin angesprochen über das unsägliche Verhalten des Mitarbeiters. Ich gebe nur sehr ungern einen Stern, da ich das Restaurant eigentlich mag, aber nach dem heutigen Tag bleibt mir keine Wahl… Wäre das mein Mitarbeiter , könnte er sich morgen einen...

Authentic Swiss restaurant with excellent ambiance. Mozzarella cheese plate with tomatoes was healthy and tasty! Spätzle was with mushrooms and plenty of cheese. Ravioli with pears and roasted onions came with butter sauce and pretty tasty if you can survive the butter part. Authentic Swiss food at most exquisite surroundings, quite pricey though. Service could have been better particularly for a non-Swiss German speaking tourist like we were! Legendary Swiss hospitality...
