A visit is worth every cent. Particularaly when you realize how much dedication, precision and time the team invested in building it. A lot of it is not ready bought material, but fabricated by the team of Kaeserberg. From minute details such ad the delicate work of hooking up the overhead powerlines to the contruction of a wagon with a built-in vacum cleaner to keep the rails from dust to detailed work on buildings and people in real to life situations, everything was carefully planned. All trains are running independently (digital) from each other and are controlled by real railway controlling boards. They stop and take off slowly and even sound like real trains. All the memories of spending hours and hours building our own model railway together with my grandfather. Only just that already made the visit worthwhile. Apart from that I can only say: impressive! I can't imagine how much effort went into building the Kaeserbergbahn from scratch (looking at their computerised system, I guess they've started building the railway way before digital controls became mainstream).
