Flower Trail — Attraction in Lauterbrunnen

This review does not apply solely to the Flower Trail, but to the myriad of hiking trails above Muerren.

Within a minute or two of heading out of the village there is only the occasional passerby with whom to exchange a greeting, all the while being able to take in the stunning vistas of the Eiger massif to the south.

Route and destination options are clearly signposted, the paths beautifully maintained and only a rare, overly inquisitive cow to worry about. There is some minor disruption to the regular paths in areas where the Schilthornbahn upgrades are taking place, but the...

We walked this on the recommendation of others.

It won't disappoint but you'll need to be very fit. It will get your heart rate up in places.

We walked in trail runners and they were perfect.

Get the cable car up and down and you're in for the most beautiful Alpine "walk".

NB. We stopped at the sun terrace at Winteregg. The terrace and Insta- big swing are amazing, but the rip off cost and lack of a price guide before buying is something to be aware...

Nice easy trail. Perfect for families. Kids will enjoy the many games installed along the path.
