Statue du Christ-Roi — Attraction in Lens

With only 1.3 km from the neighbouring village of Lens, the hike is not very long, but still challenging with 118 meters to climb. You can approach the statue by walking uphill through the 14 stations of The Way of the Cross where you progressively discover the Statue and on the other side sights on Montana and the Rhône Valley. A wonderful walk up through beautiful trees bring you to the statue and little chapel. The walk is managed in strong trainers, some parts are steep and a good sense of balance is needed.
