The Chienbäse parade is almost a secret from the tourists. Very hard to find information about it on the internet. But for one night a year at the end of February this little town turns into a crazy parade town. Beware of many drunk participants carrying large bouquets of fire, really a must see!

Der heisseste Brauch der Schweiz! Wer einmal dabei war, kommt immer wieder. Einfach einmalig! Unbedingt alte Kleider anziehen, Gefahr von Brandlöcher absolut vorhanden! Gratistip eines Liestalers: Der beste Platz ist in der Altstadt beim Tor! Spektakuläre Bilder garantiert!

Alle Jahre gerne wieder! Auch wenn die Anzahl an Zuschauern immer steigt und man gefühlt immer weniger Platz hat, darf man diesen Brauch nicht verpassen. Am besten den Besuch am Chienbäse mit einem Füürwägeli im Rathauskeller herunterspülen.
