Caux Palace above Montreux is one of the most impressive places I’ve visited. I arrived by motorcycle, and I must say the road leading up is one of the most beautiful, yet also one of the more challenging routes I’ve ridden – a narrow mountain road full of curves, but the views that open up are absolutely breathtaking. The building itself, although no longer a hotel, still radiates the elegance of a bygone era, and the surrounding area is perfect for walking, relaxing, and enjoying nature. All the rooms were quite well maintained and very beautiful place to spend a time during summer.
