A not too stretched out ski area with an entertaining sequence of slopes starting from the top. They start to become demanding with the rising sun. By the geometry of the slopes and shaddows cast by trees and outcrops, one side of a slope stays hard while the other side becomes softer. We didn't try the lowest section to the valley station though. There was snow and others did. The small restaurant at the top offers a breathtaking view and good coffee. There are meals at lunch, reservations recommended. The lower restaurant at the middle station has few tasty meals that are delivered quickly. The village itself is small but pitoresque and has some good restaurants, a supermarket, bank etc. to offer. Also the ducks' pond is a very nice spot to sit and relax during Summer-time. Take the chair-lifts Furgstalden and to Heidbodme (!
