Büvetta Tarasp — Attraction in Scuol

If everything goes well the building should open in 2025, work started quietly in 2020 in order to stop the erosion of the ground and of the stone wall behind the Buvetta. At the moment the inside is still closed and it doesn't seem to be soon over. A lot of work has still to be done for this astonishing masterpiece of architecture and history. It was an hotel of 300 rooms where the elite could come and rest while drinking the most naturally mineralized water of Europe from the Lucius Source the strongest of the three water sources you would find inside (still can find them but they have to be renovated at the moment so it's not possible to see them). The "Büvetta" is a so-called "lost place". The former drinking hall with 3 different excellent mineral water springs has been closed since 2006. Attempts are being made to gather resources for renovation and reopening. So far not successful. The inside of the buildings cannot be officially visited... Der gegründete Verein für die Renovation ist unterstützungswürdig, schade wenn alles verfallen würde. Schade, dass die Gemeinde nicht mehr dafür tut. Auch bei der Quelle auf der andern Platzseite könnte man etwas renovieren und hübscher gestalten. Es ist nicht einmal angeschrieben, ob das Brunnenwasser bedenkenlos getrunken werden kann.
