If you use a credit card or debit card to pay for your ski pass, and you do not live in Switzerland, then they cheat you. They do this by charging you an increased amount in the currency of the country where you live. The amount is increased by several percent in the process of converting the currency. They do not ask permission to do this. If you complain they refuse to do anything about it.

Regarding the reply below - I don't accept that this is a 'general currency problem.' In fact this fraudulent practice is known as 'Dynamic Currency Conversion.' In the EEA area rules require the customer to be offered a choice of whether to pay in Euros or the currency of their own country, with a clear display of the mark-up percentage before they choose. Only in Switzerland have I been scammed like this. You only do this to defraud your customers. I won't be using you again, and am disinclined to take holidays in...

A underrated gem. It's geographically situated such that day trips are not economical so one doesn't see day tourists. Visitors are vacationing for several days at the least so you meet a lot of local tourists who are regulars. Also inexpensive compared to other Swiss ski slopes that get a lot of tourists and are definitely more crowded. Restaurants on the slopes offer delicious meals.

It's surrounded by spectacular winter scenery, quaint villages with high quality meat and cheese, apothecaries carrying alpine herbal products, a fun thermal spa and much more. I...

Perfect skiing in wonderful Swiss Alps. There are just a few minor questions I had today: Why is the payment machine for the parking at the main cashdesk not at the parking lot? Why do you need to go to the cahdesk to get your on-line purchased skipass? Why does the 10 minutes walk to the bus in Sent take 15 minutes? Why do you need to purchase the key-card when you know that you will never need it again? I know that it hurts, but having a combined skipass for Switzerland and Austria would also be a nice idea....

If you travel from Zurich you will likely have to change trains in Landquart and from there you will arrive to Scuol Tarasp in about an hour and a half. The aerial tramway is just steps away from the train station, you can't miss it. It will take you 15 minutes to reach the summit and from there you can hike in many different directions and enjoy the breathtaking view! By the way is only one counter to buy tickets which means it might take a while if it is too crowded.

This ski area is fantastic! The slopes are well-maintained, and there's a great variety of runs for skiers of beginner/intermediete. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of amenities, including restaurants and shops, to keep you entertained off the slopes. I had an incredible time skiing here and can't wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great ski experience!
