Wildpark Mühletäli — Attraction in Starrkirch-Wil

A very small animal park celebrating its 70th year.. Most of the animals are concentrated in one area which makes it easy to see them without wandering around.

There are cartons of food available to buy. The proceeds of which go towards the upkeep of the park.

After seeing all the animals, you can continue walking and walk through the forest.

The little ones will love it but it is sadly lacking in variety.

EDIT. 27.10.2024. the new coin-operated food dispensers give out less food than was available before.

They now only give you a quarter to a half a cup. Although the price is the same.

Der Wildpark Mühletäli ist für mich ein ganz besonderer Ort in der Region Olten. Ich habe ihn bereits mehrmals besucht und jedes Mal war es ein schönes Erlebnis. Der Park liegt idyllisch eingebettet in die Natur und bietet eine wohltuende Ruhe, die man sofort spürt, sobald man ihn betritt.

Die Tiere haben viel Platz und wirken gesund und zufrieden. Besonders angetan haben es mir die Alpakas und die neugierigen Zwergziegen. Es macht Freude, die verschiedenen Arten zu beobachten und etwas über sie zu lernen. Dass man spezielles Futter aus Automaten verwenden darf, sorgt bei Kindern und Erwachsenen gleichermassen für Begeisterung.

Was mir besonders gefällt, ist der kostenlose Eintritt. Dadurch ist der Park für alle zugänglich und eignet sich auch für spontane Besuche. Die Umgebung lädt ausserdem zum Spazieren und Verweilen ein. In der Nähe gibt es Grillplätze und das Säli-Schlössli, sodass man den Ausflug wunderbar verlängern kann.

Der Wildpark Mühletäli ist liebevoll gepflegt und man merkt, wie viel Engagement dahinter steckt. Es ist kein grosser Tierpark mit exotischen Tieren, aber genau das macht seinen Reiz aus. Er ist authentisch, naturnah und ideal für alle, die Tiere mögen und ein bisschen entschleunigen wollen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall...
