Dent de Vaulion — Attraction in Vallorbe

Good hiking point for good hikers. If you are not a big fan of long uphills, there is a road which goes almost till the top of the mountain. Great view on great area. You can see six or seven lakes from there: lake Neuchatel, Geneva lake, lakes of valee de joux... There is a table-like map and you can see which mountain or lake is in which direction. Hike is not really hard, but there is no water to drink. Unfortunately on the top, there is no spot which gives you full view of the area, so you can't take really good panoramas. 360° views of Lac de Joux, Lake Geneva, France and the Alps! Worth a visit! 1h hike (not too difficult) from the Petra Felix bus stop (with links to Le Pont and Lausanne). 1h 20mins descent into Le Pont through the well marked forest route. It's a big nature place with a lot of trees and a lot of wild animals. But a lot of tourist to. So it's better to go on week days and really early or really late.. If you have a dog it's ok but remember that people there have not respect for other one. But nature is great.. But better...
