Mt. Rigi is the best place to visit if you are nearby Luzern. My route was Vitznau - Rigiklum - Rigi Kaldbad - lift to Weggis that can enjoy nicest view of Rigi. Only takes 2-3 hours for a trip. Of course price is high...
