Great way to spend the day! We had so much fun. The Weinweg Weinfelden is a great way to spend the day outside with friends. We ended up staying much longer than we anticipated. The wine was quite good (something for everybody), the path is well marked (just pay attention after the first wine safe and as you’re approaching the second wine safe; easy to bypass the turns), and the views are lovely. The highlight of the day was speaking with Mr. Held whose winery is right next to the second wine safe. Stop by and pick up a few bottles of “the good stuff” that’s not in the wine safe.

Beautiful way to spend a day in the Swiss countryside. The walk passes through some beautiful landscapes and idyllic Swiss villages. It took a couple of failed attempts to find the trail from the centre of Weinfelden but that's probably more to do with our navigation skills. Once you're out of the town the trail is well signposted and easy to follow. The wine safes are easy to find and contain a range of pretty drinkable wines. Lovely day out, would definitely do it again.
