Getting to Landquart Premium Outlet is more convenient that i thought. From Zurich HB, the IC3 express train ride takes only about 60 minutes amd it cost about CHF34 one way. The journey is pleasant, with beautiful Swiss scenery that makes the time pass quickly. The station is right next to the outlet, so overall accessibility is excellent. If it rain, you can walk to the other end of the station near subway for a covered walkway.
Unfortunately the outlet itself was underwhelming. Having visited premium outlets in many countries, I found Landquart to be one of the most disappointing. The layout feels like a single, narrow alleyway, giving it a somewhat cramped and claustrophobic atmosphere. In terms of brand selection, it leans heavily toward mid-tier and mass market labels, with very few true luxury options. Major high end names you would typically expect at a premium outlet are missing totally.
If you’re already in the area, it may be worth a quick visit to browse or pick up some basics. However, if your goal is serious high end outlet shopping, you will likely walk away disappointed. Despite the limited offerings, I still ended up spending about USD 5k here and was done in just 1.5 hours, which says a lot about how small the place really is. The only notable mass market/ mid tier brands are bally, Tommy, Ralph Lauren, armani exchange/ emporio. With typical sports brands like North face Nike and addidas. Nike here are smaller than those usually found in premium outlets. The rest are not...

Read moreI was really looking forward to visiting Outlet Landquart, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The layout is confusing, with little to no shelter from the weather, making it unpleasant on both hot and rainy days. Walking around in harsh sunlight or strong winds is far from enjoyable.
Parking is a major issue. The lot is poorly managed, often full, and the narrow spaces make it difficult to park properly. The entrance and exit traffic is chaotic, with long waits and little organization.
Despite being called an "outlet," the prices are not much lower than regular retail stores, and the so-called discounts feel misleading. It’s frustrating to come expecting great deals and leave feeling like you paid full price.
Additionally, the atmosphere is underwhelming. The area lacks seating, shade, and proper relaxation spots, making it tiring to walk around. The food options are extremely limited, overpriced, and don’t offer much variety.
Overall, Outlet Landquart is not worth the visit. The poor setup, lack of real discounts, and uncomfortable experience make it a place I...
