Guizikeng Trail — Attraction in Beitou

A small trail with two entrances that aren't too far from each other. There's some parking near the entrances, but you might have to park elsewhere and walk a little. Once you've reached the top of this trail, you can walk a bit further and continue to Qingtian temple, which is part of the Grand hike Taipei. There are a few rest pavilions on the trail, they're usually busy with people cooking food on the weekend. The trail itself is relatively easy, stairs mostly. A short, well constructed hiking trail in Yangmingshan suitable for all levels including children. I entered through the camping site area with some wooden posts and a few stone owls at the entrance and bathrooms on the left. Go straight up a ramp where you get to Valentine Lake and the Guizekeng Soil and Water Conservation Education Park. The trail entrance is accessible from the right hand side of the lake. This time I was hiking the trail as part of the first section of Taipei Grand Hike and continued on to Erziping after scaling to the end...

Excellent hiking trail with a lot of stone stairs. Before going to the trail, there are two recreation places; camping ground and environmental education, provide people for picnic or rest. You can go a round trip on the trail, or explore other trails on the peak to Gandou or...
