Douli Beach — Attraction in Chenggong

I came here because I am a beginner surfer, still with a softboard. The waves were consistant. The locals were friendly and the lineup was not overcrowded. The view from the sea was of mystical and majestic mountains, blue sky and black sand which sparkles like diamonds. I think that it is also worth mentioning that you can drive scooters all the way to the beach buy not cars. I was told the path would be narrow and some people would be walking so I was a bit nervous as I don't drive a scooter daily. But the path was paved and well kept. It was a perfect way to ease into the Taiwan surf culture. Also, I have never been on a beach before where everyone was a beginner with a softboard.
