Chengcing Lake — Attraction in Kaohsiung

Kaohsiung residents, including foreign residents with a valid ARC have free entry at the gate. Definitely put aside a whole day if you want to walk around the entire lake. There are several Ubike stations and entire parking lots inside as well as outside the entrance, definitely use bikes unless you want to walk the many paths inside. Beautiful lakes surrounded by gardens. Nice to walk around. I went for a walk one afternoon from the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital where my grandson was a patient and it was really an experience. It is a very huge lake. You will be tired walking the whole lake but you will enjoy it because there are so many things to see. Many beautiful plants and trees around the Chengcing Lake.
