到高雄必須去參觀新的景點：【衛武營國家藝術文化中心】 衛武營本來是一個軍事營區，在結束使用之後，如同台灣眾多公共區域一般，改建成文創地區，而這裡則建造成為高雄的表演藝術中心。 衛武營文化藝術中心由荷蘭的麥肯諾建築師事務所團隊設計，場館佔地 9.9 公頃，包含了歌劇院、音樂廳、戲劇院、表演廳，另外還有緊鄰衛武營都會公園的戶外劇場，整體占地47 公頃，整體就像個大公園，面積非常大。 負責設計的法蘭馨．侯班（Francine Houben）表示，這是麥肯諾（Mecanoo）建築師事務所團隊最具雄心壯志的建築之一，當初是受到衛武營榕樹群的啟發，創造出由獨特的鋼表皮屋頂打造而成的巨大流線型建築，目的是希望為臺灣提供一個旗艦型文化場域，吸引來自世界各地的表演者和觀眾。 這裡人潮眾多，樓上的咖啡廳都坐滿了人，外面的草地上有許多家庭來享受假日的時光。整體的空間給人一種融入自然的感覺，寬敞而舒適。不過仔細一看，會發現不少細節的地方可能做工不盡理想，看起來像是經費有點問題。 訂製的不規則鋼板費用不低，最後是找了造船的工廠以船板的方式打造的這個建築物外頂，看上去做工和細節處理有待加強，整塊看似沒貼好、膠水塗太多的紙⋯⋯或許只能說是藝術境界太高，讓人摸不透哈。 不過大部分的群眾看起來都很享受這個地方，許多人專門過來打卡拍照，也算是家庭旅遊的一個好去處了。還是值得來看看，我倒是對裡面的音樂廳很感興趣，可惜沒有開放，以後有機會定要去體驗一把。
