規劃很完善，散步休閒好去處。平日假日皆可帶孩子們去餵魚、餵養鴿子，紅面鴨，木頭鴨挺有趣的，生態池內的大小烏龜也很多唷！傍晚運動或晚餐後散步都很合適，天氣·好時，偶也能拍攝到美麗讓人驚艶的相片。原本池中散開的荷花，最近改用網籠分區栽種，更顯水池乾淨整齊。草坪照護的很好，玩走累了樹下隨意一登坐，放鬆心情欣賞四周視野，也算人生享受之一了。法院旁的大廣場，偶有夫妻或情侶手牽手散步，看來温暖感人。孩童也會到此練騎脚踏車，划板車，是安全的好地方。橋頭新市鎮近幾年大樓林立，人口快速增長，這生態公園完工後，真是新莊里民一大福音呢！
