We paid NTD 150.00 for the boat ride. The tour is in Chinese and there was no cell signal inside the cave, so I understood nothing about the cave. But from what I guessed, when the tides are high, you can't enter the cave because it's so high it reaches the lighting fixtures. The boat ride was pretty quick, and feel safe because everyone gets their own...

Underwhelming experience, minimal ability to see any of the bioluminescence. Seemed more like a tourist trap. Maybe it is a seasonal phenomenon. They load people onto boats, give you a paddle to splash the water, which is supposed to activate/stimulate/abuse(?) the bacteria. They turn the lights out to increase the visibility, but even then,...

I don't know why people give this place less than 5 stars.. This place is amazing. Is it because you have to pay for the boat ride? Well, you don't have to!!! It's free!! if you're willing to walk inside. It's less than a km round trip. Go inside, make a left and start walking. It's wayyyyy cooler inside. A must visit in Nangan!!! and...

You can take a small boat for a 20 minute trip, through the tunnels that took almost three years to build back in the day. A ticket costs ~250$ per person, it's very calm and peaceful there and the air is cool and fresh. Depending on the conditions you can see the famous blue tears here, but you have to check, before you come here.
