It takes less than three hours to get here by bus in Taipei. You can take a train also, however,it takes a time and might takes more than 3 hours depending on situation. Once you get here, go to the diving centre and rent snorkeling gears for swimming. The prices is 250 taiwan dollars for one day regardless of time limits. But beware that water is quite deeper and waves is pretty much harsh as you must be careful when you are swimming. Do not go far away from the caves. One guy was drown to dead just couple of weeks ago as he tried to go further. Scenery of dragon cave is so awesome and when it’s going to be rainy, I recommend you to not visit this place as rocks are so steep and dangerous in terms of...

One of the best day trips I've done in Taiwan. You can take the bus here and stop nearby and rent some snorkelling equipment. You definitely want to get some water shoes with the rubber soles too since the trek there and the snorkelling area itself is rocky. Snorkelling there was amazing! We went in September and it was a scorching hot day. The water was clear, refreshing, and there's tons of marine life to observe. There's also a rope to climb up one of the rocks which you can then jump off of. Do be careful if you come here to snorkel though since you can get easily get injured and it's not an easy area to access for rescuers. You can finish the day with a hike up one of the nearby...

Best climbing spots for all levels of climbers in Taiwan! There are 9 climbing sectors, which are 1) School Gate, 2) Clocktower, 3) Long Lane, 4) Music Hall, 5) Grand Auditorium, 6) First Cave, 7) Second Cave, 8) Golden Valley, and 9) Back Door. And there are over 600 routes including sports climbing routes and traditional climbing routes as well. Some specific spots can try to DWS(Deep Water Soloing). Approaches to the wall takes about 10~20 min from HeMei Elementary School (No.1, Longdong Street., Gongliao District, New...

Free parking is available nearby, along with plenty of equipment rental options. Getting to the cove requires a bit of effort, as you’ll need to navigate rocky paths and large boulders—so be prepared with sturdy knees and good balance. The waves can be strong, so confident swimming skills are a must. If you’re not a strong swimmer, it’s best not to take risks and instead rent proper gear. Overall, it’s a fun and exciting spot for snorkeling, cliff jumping, and swimming.
