從小就對武器很有興趣，無論是戰車、飛機，還是大砲，都會讓我流連許久，家裡的書架上堆滿了介紹武器的書和雜誌，就連在美國，也很多次到馬里蘭州的亞伯丁武器展示場，試圖了解每一個火砲戰車它的前生今世。偶然在Google 地圖上，看到了樹林有一個武器公園，今天找時間來參觀，剛看到的時候，有些許的失望，太袖珍的武器公園，但看到第一項F104 戰鬥機編號4192，感觸很深，上個世紀80年代，美國拒絕出售新式戰機，另外將德國淘汰66架F104轉售我們，這架就是其中之一，保衛台灣15年後，靜靜的在這裡休息，沒有自己的軍工業，是可悲的。再一個吸引到我的是M42防空砲車，我研究過他，希望他能夠改自動化，但上個時代的武器，無論如何改進，都無法適合現代戰爭，創新才是生存的不二法門。

軍武迷會很愛的清幽公園，位於新北市軍人忠靈祠園區內，汽機車停車便利。公園依動線展示曾經保家衛國現已退役的十多件軍武，包括戰車、戰鬥機、火砲、火箭砲、海錨等，依動線走一圈便能盡覽。公園後山則是居民的登山健行去處，可循多福步道經三福山，一路爬上三角埔頂山、青龍嶺、大棟山等地。惟公園有開關門時間，停車於此要注意關門時間。
