This is a mandatory place to visit for many Singaporeans (and others) of a certain age. This was an emotionally moving visit. The grounds are well done and well maintained. Transportation can be a little awkward depending on the day and season. We took the North Coast Tourist Shuttle from Tamsui MRT Station (check at the Tourist Information desk there for latest information). Apparently in the winter, only about half of the buses stop at the memorial - we decided to taxi to central Jinshan rather than wait almost 2 hours for the next bus. The memorial and close by Chin Pao San Cemetery (where there are bathrooms and tea / coffee) are very beautiful.

the memorial park is located within chin pao san cemetery up in the mountains. booking an uber/cab may be time saving for those considering to visit, costs about NT$1,500. a very quiet and serene environment to pay homage to teresa teng. her songs can be heard in the background as you enter the area, gardeners are also within close vicinity maintaining the garden well.

Really pretty memorial in a quiet and (somewhat) remote cemetery. The bus ride from Taipei involves 1815 which has pretty views of the mountains, and going from the park back to Tamsui via 716 has gorgeous views of the northern coast. Teresa's songs are playing softly, which also make it really nice
