Wasn’t busy. White beach. The beach is HOT. Definitely bring some kind of sandals. There’s a business that’ll put up an umbrella, unlimited chairs, and life jackets for $500NT for the day. However, there are no public bathrooms that I recall seeing or food. No wash stations. Easy walk from the bus stop since we traveled from Taipei. Overall, the family had great time for the few hours we spent there.

Don't come here(Feb 12, 2024). This place is nasty and gross. There are dead fish on the beach. There is so much trash everywhere. The worst thing about this place is that there is literally crude oil coated all over the beach. You're walking in oil. It took me 30 minutes of scrubbing to remove it off my feet and my clothes.

This beach is not a far drive from Taipei. The sandy area is clean and spacious, and the water is shallow and clear. Although the water is clear and free from rubbish, I believe the algae content is rather high. This made my skin sting in certain places on my arms and legs as I swam. This was not an issue for my wife.
