It turned out that only this photo worked out about this scenic spot visited in noon time, where i had Hakka lunch and Hakka style tea.

There were a lot of tourists compared with other spots visited earlier the day, including ginger garden.

There ate sufficient amount of resting areas with singing performances by vision-impaired street artists. Shops along the road near the station allowed to get a bit of understanding and taste of Hakka cuisines and culinary culture.

There was biking service on the railway, boast the first in Taiwan. It is more like a four seated biking carts equipped with electricity generated motors plus peddles to simulate the cycling experience. Different routes for a ride of about 40minutes at the cost of $265-275 per adult.

Due to time clashes, railway biking was not included in today’s itinerary. Next time when...

It runs through different stations, tunnels, and you can see far and wide, the most notable being the "broken bridge". For all avid train lovers, it is a must! Before heading on the return train, you also get to check out some trees with impressive roots.

You must plan well and purchase...

This was an unexpected find. We went to Miaoli to visit the Hakka village and the old train station. It's a quaint little place. When we arrived, to our delight we found that they had set in place rail bikes on the old railroad tracks. We rode it all the way to the abandoned train viaduct. It was a fun way to visit the area, although you wouldn't see anything spectacular along the way till you reach the viaduct. It is interesting to see how nature had taken over man-made structures. To reach Miaoli, It's an hour and a half train ride from Taipei main station. Then another half an hour taxi ride to...
