Our personal tour guide brought us to visit this farm and we were happily surprised to recall having stayed here (this farm) 14 years ago when we joined a group tour to Taiwan. |Though my family didn’t (farm) stay here this time, we remembered very well the most comfortable beds in the spacious hotel room with natural forest around it. |It was here that I tasted the best fried (xinzhu) beehoon of my life in 2011 then. Read moreWe stayed here on 11 December 2018. Dakeng Leisure Farm is basically a family business. It started as a chicken farm which transformed into a farm-stay resort based on the eco-sustainability concept. We enjoyed the food there which was a hundred percent locally-produced ingredients. There's also an observation deck which offers a 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains. An excellent spot for photographing sunrise and sunset. Other activities include strawberry picking at one of their nurseries, making of bamboo cicadas in their council hall, and setting off fireworks in the open area right beside their...
