This is one of many resting areas and they all vary with different stores. But this one is by far my favourite. It is huge!
Back home in Canada, Vancouver bc, resting areas consist of a huge parking lot and bathrooms, THATS IT! That’s all you get. But in Taiwan you get a mini mall with private and corporate stores. Food, drinks, retail apparel, skin care, and more. It felt like the size of Capilano Mall.

This is hands-down the most comfortable highway service station I've ever visited in Taiwan. The spacious layout, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, is a welcome change from cramped rest stops. The innovative decor and spotless environment create a truly pleasant atmosphere. Read moreAs far as rest stops go, this is one of the two nicest (in my opinion) headed north. There’s tons of parking, with a space counter so you know which areas have open parking spaces. Very convenient. There appears to be endless bathrooms that are clean and even have bidets in the ladies room! Inside there are several eating options, to include sushi and Korean. There are two major convenience stores- Hi Life and 7-11. There’s a local branded coffee shop and a Starbucks.
