Yingxi Lake — Attraction in Tainan

It's a park offering a loop around the Yingxi lake (takes like 20 ~ 30 min). Looks simple but the walk is really enhanced by a serie of artistic elements, some being simple and some being surprising like the giant yellow ribbon. That ribbon is clearly the highlight of the place. It's great to discover along the course of the walk, the various angles and points of view to appreciate that ribbon's design and size. So, the place is surprising for a first visit, but it's also great for regular and locals people in need of a quiet stroll, for family with kids, for joggers or photographers. The lake has may look better or worse depending on the weather or time of day. On cloudy days, it has a slight reflection of the yellow ribbon 🎗 which is nice. It's also quite peaceful at night.

There are art structures scattered throughout. I really think they could have done a better job with the main one spiraling behind the lake.

You can go fishing for free here and there is shade from the trees. You can drive along the lake but the best spot for parking is a lot near the fake boat...
