I had an awesome Double Tenth Day hiking from Songshan Ci Hui Temple to Tiger Mountain for the fireworks! Both climbs were a good workout, but the views from the top were incredible. Ci Hui Temple is magnificent, and Tiger Mountain gives you an amazing panorama of the city. If you're up for a challenging hike with a spectacular view, I highly recommend this route for next year's...

Great view of Taipei 101! It’s a little bit of a walk from the MRT station but there’s an interesting street market and a beautiful temple along the way. This is an easy hike that’s not too steep of an incline. Plus Taipei 101 is visible almost the whole time. It was not crowded when I went. If you follow the roads long enough, you’ll end up at the top of Elephant Mountain...

Its amazing to be able to take the train to go for a hike in the jungle. We walked from Houshanpi station and happily wandered for hours through this sacred mountain. It was pouring rain when we went, so all the giant snails and frogs came out and the creeks and waterfalls were joyful! I had an awesome Double Tenth Day hiking from Songshan Ci Hui Temple to Tiger Mountain for the fireworks! Both climbs were a good workout, but the views from the top were incredible. Ci Hui Temple is magnificent, and Tiger Mountain gives you an amazing panorama of the city. If you're up for a challenging hike with a spectacular view, I highly recommend this route for next year's fireworks show!
