Yingfeng Dog Park — Attraction in Taipei

Large dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. Has water fountains and trash bags for the dogs. The biggest issue with this large dog park is that some irresponsible parents bring their kids in and let their kids run around and play like it's a regular park, which it is not. When their kids run around, it's a distraction for the dogs and many dogs tend to chase after and bite running children. One of these days, one of these kids of irresponsible parents will get bitten and the parents will then blame it on the dogs... The dog park would be much better if people watch over their kids and not let them run around and play in here (or just don't bring them at all). Lovely park and well maintained, however it's ruined by people who bring young kids and let them run around without supervision. For God's sake, their kids have many many more playgrounds in the city for them to play, please let the dogs play in the very few protected spaces they have in the city. Kids running and screaming are a known trigger for many dogs, and we've had to leave early with our dog many times because of that. Even if there are dogs that are not sensitive to kids, I ask that parents consider the fact that there are only a few leash free dog areas in the city, and that you please respect dogs of different temperament and with different triggers, and protect this area as a safe space for...
