A pleasant experience here with a handful of friends and family! This is a higher end hotpot restaurant which focuses on service and freshness and high quality ingredients.

First things first, make sure you make reservations. Orange Shabu Shabu is the name of the first location. The menu and offering here is essentially identical.

The menu was a bit confusing at first but the wait staff was incredibly helpful and patient. Kudos to the training there. They knew how to work with first time guests.

There are two kinds of soup bases to select from. You can select from a wide range of meats (beef, wagyu, pork, seafood). Each set comes with a large bowl of fresh vegetables, tofu and other ingredients to cook in the soup base. There is also a set for vegetarians.

They provide two types of dipping sauces. One ponzu (think light citrus) with finely chopped/ground daikon. The other is a seasame based sauce. Ask for more if you run out.

If it's your first time experiencing hotpot don't be afraid to ask for assistance. Part of the 'fun' is being able to cook whatever you want when want to.

Look to spend between 800 - 2000 ntd per person. The price will depend on what type of meats you select and if you choose to add on deserts.
