The trail to the falls is very easy and flat (around 2 km one way, the first half is suitable for wheelchairs too). It passes many tunnels and views along the way. We were also lucky to see monkeys. There is a parking lot and a rest room at the start of the trail. Shortly before the falls, the trail splits - if you go right, you will also see the Water Curtain Cave - a cool place to visit (I recommend bringing a rain coat with you) if you are not afraid of small and narrow places.

As on Oct 10, 2021, trail is closed and not accessible due to dangerous tiger head hornets. To avoid any encounters with these insects, do not have any juicy fruit, sweets and soda beverages on this hike. If the hornet stung you, immediately call ambulance and leave the hike. Breathtaking! The cave with the water curtain was formed during the road construction and remained there ever since. Is very refreshing to go through the cave when it’s hot but make Sure to have a raincoat. The trail is really worth it!

This is the good place for trail and enjoy the waterfall. We arrived around 9 am and start to walk around 9.30 am. Actually this track not so long. You can enjoy the scenery of taroko along walking on the track. All of you must take care from the stone, that way you have to wear helmet. The helmet provide by organizer and it can take at the building before reaching the baiyang trail. Otherwise, there are so many people didn't wear the helmet. At the end of track, you can enjoy the waterfall in the cave. We suggest you to wear the...

This is a really enjoyable trail. It’s more of a walk than a hike but it’s beautiful. The trail takes you through very dark tunnels, so you’ll need a light. The last tunnel takes you to the curtain waterfall so I would advise you to take a raincoat or rain poncho to go through here as you get very wet. To get to this trail by bus, take the bus to Tianxiang and the beginning of the trail is 700m from here. The trail is around...
