Baiyang Falls — Attraction in Xiulin

This is the good place for trail and enjoy the waterfall. We arrived around 9 am and start to walk around 9.30 am. Actually this track not so long. You can enjoy the scenery of taroko along walking on the track. All of you must take care from the stone, that way you have to wear helmet. The trail to the falls is very easy and flat (around 2 km one way, the first half is suitable for wheelchairs too). It passes many tunnels and views along the way. We were also lucky to see monkeys. There is a parking lot and a rest room at the start of the trail. This is a really enjoyable trail. It’s more of a walk than a hike but it’s beautiful. The trail takes you through very dark tunnels, so you’ll need a light. The last tunnel takes you to the curtain waterfall so I would advise you to take a raincoat or rain poncho to go through here as you get very wet.
