Length: 2.1 km (one way) Difficulty: Easy to Moderate Starting Point: Near the Tianxiang Recreation Area, accessible via a short drive or bus ride.

The trail features several tunnels, including the longest one near the trailhead. Bringing a flashlight is recommended, as some tunnels can be quite dark.

One of the main attractions of the trail is the Baiyang Waterfall, where water cascades down a tall cliff into a serene pool. The waterfall is especially beautiful after rainfall.

At the end of the trail, you'll find the Water Curtain Cave, where water flows from the ceiling of the cave, creating a curtain-like effect. You can walk through the cave, but be prepared to get wet. Rain gear or a waterproof jacket and sturdy non-slip footwear are advisable.

This trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, dense forests, and the Liwu River below. The combination of natural elements makes for a scenic and peaceful hike.

Note: There are no facilities along the trail, so ensure you have enough water and snacks for the hike. ARriving early can help you avoid the crowds and enjoy a...

We walked to the entrance from Taroko Silks which was almost 1km. The entrance is to the left of a pillared tunnel as you go uphill from the hotel on the main road.

This is our second time on this trail so we were more prepared. Next to go in the morning and be done with it around noon. I would plan at least a two hour stop here. Bring raincoats, slippers to change into, flashlight (not your phone unless you don’t mind getting it wet!) and a small towel (dry your feet with afterwards). All the material is if you want to go inside the waterfall cave at the end, which was quite a scary and fun experience.

The trail is easy and smooth, no stairs, stroller friendly. The kids also loved walking through all the tunnels on the way to the end of the last waterfall tunnel. I strongly recommend this trail if you want some nice views and water fun!

Next time, I would probably want to let my kids wear bathing suits under their clothes and not use...

The trail is amazing! In total it is around 2 km and you pass many tunnels. The first one kilometer is suitable for wheelchairs (I am really impressed!). The distance that you have passed is also marked on the side. We saw some monkeys which was quite cool. At the end the trail splits in two - left you go for a few minutes to see the waterfalls and right along a tunnel that takes you to a "Water Curtain Cave" in a few minutes. The second one is pretty cool, you definitely need a rain coat as the water is falling from the ceiling of the cave, but other tourists may give you a rain coat too. In general, the trail is quite easy. I personally didn't feel the need of wearing a helmet, but according to signs it is recommended as rocks may fall. There is a parking lot and a rest room at the start...

*Remember to bring slippers/flip flops and poncho for this trail!!* Literally the coolest and one of the easiest trails in Taroko National Park! It's a trail that approx takes you 3 to 4 hours to finish if you include the time taking pictures and having some fun in Water Curtain Cave. The start point of the trail is in the middle of the tunnel and there's another tunnel when you enter. The end of the trail is a water curtain cave where you can experience mini waterfalls in a cave. Do not bring an umbrella inside cus the pathway is really narrow. Love this trail a lot. The cave is def the highlight of the trail!
