Kiwengwa beach being the much more popular, Pongwe's beach is a quiet gem and personally much more appreciated. Suited for swimming at high tides - the water can get comfortably warm on nice days - and suited for walking at all times.

Hier scheint während der Wintersaison nicht viel los zu sein. Bei Ebbe muss man recht weit laufen, um an die Wasserlinie zu gelangen. Badeschuhe sind auf Grund der scharfkantigen Steine und der Seeigel mehr als empfehlenswert. Der Portier des "Island Resort" führte uns über das Gelände und informierte uns über die Gegebenheiten dieses " Adults-only" Hauses. Das Restaurant und die Bar sind jedoch auch für...

Hier scheint während der Wintersaison nicht viel los zu sein. Bei Ebbe muss man recht weit laufen, um an die Wasserlinie zu gelangen. Badeschuhe sind auf Grund der scharfkantigen Steine und der Seeigel mehr als empfehlenswert. Der Portier des "Island Resort" führte uns über das Gelände und informierte uns über die Gegebenheiten dieses " Adults-only" Hauses. Das Restaurant und die Bar sind jedoch auch für Familien zugänglich.

Très belles plages avec plusieurs nuances de bleues, il y a un peu d’algues à marée basse. Mais plage calme sans trop de tourisme de masse. Plage agréable avec ponton pour faire des photos. À marée haute splendide.
