The Club by Pongwe Bay Resort — Restaurant in undefined

We found this restaurant thanks to a recommendation from friends who, like us, stayed at the TOA hotel. You won’t find a better spot for a sunset on this side of the island!

If you’re in Pongwe, this place is a must-visit - not just for the food but also for the stunning views. Despite being close to the end of the season, the restaurant served amazing food, delicious drinks, and provided a peaceful, oasis-like atmosphere.

Breathtaking views, super friendly staff, great food, stunning sunsets, and the magical backdrop of the ocean shifting with the tides - this place looks different at every hour of the day. It’s worth coming not only for a drink or a meal but also for the serenity, the scenery, and the great music.

We had a gorgeous evening at The Club!

We were staying in a nearby hotel so walked across. The pier is stunning and makes for good photos, especially at sunset!

I would suggest checking the tide times as it was stunning at high tide so water surrounds it.

We had frozen mango margaritas which were the special for the day, they were gorgeous. Our dinner - steak and tuna, were cooked to perfection and the desserts of carrot cake and chocolate brownie were divine. We really enjoyed our meal and was one of the best in Pongwe.

The atmosphere also played a part in our lovely evening - the sound of the waves, chilled playlist (not too loud either) and the stunning interior design. Sunset was magical to watch from here.

Placed in the water and built in traditional style, this bar and restaurant is a real gem.

We stayed 1 week at Pongwe Bay resort and visited the Club many times during our stay. They have excellent food, drinks, service and view. You can also take a swim, rent a kajak or paddleboard from here. There are also sunbeds if you are into that 🌞

The atmosphere and view from here is just out of this world. Either you go here to relax, have a drink or coffee, to eat or anything in between, you are ensured an excellent experience.

Prices are also very fair and you get a discount if staying at Pongwe Bay resort. I really really highly recommend this place.. love it and hope to be...
