9 kilometers from Kasetsart University, This market called “ Ying Charoen Market “ ( local people around the area call “ Tarad Sapan Mai”( Tarad= market, Sapan= bridge and Mai = new) since this market is in the area named “ Sapan Mai”. With the area of 30 rais ( 1 acre=2.5 rais) located soi Phahonyothin 62, there are huge amounts of people around the area, averaging of people visiting this market are around 30,000 -40,000 persons/day,creating very high purchasing power. And this market have all kinds of goods ,foods , vegetables, fruits and clothing, so customers or visitors visit this market resulting very high currency circulation . Surprisingly , I didn’t see any foreigners around, fruits in this market are very fresh and delicious much more than any other market. There are 3 parking lots for customers ( parking fee applied), and many bus lines will park here, including the BTS ( Bangkok Transit System ) station will be located in front of the market, easy access to this market. Beside Taradnad Khlong Thom 2( Taradnad Khlong Thom originally located in China town on the backside of General Hospital (Klang Hospital) which well known among Thai peoples, cheap price of products are available here, they say that if you can not find anything you want here you can not find elsewhere, and if you can not find anything you want elsewhere, try here. Good or products such as tools, all kind of electronics, everything used in the kitchens, flashlight, binoculars and so on) situated at the South part of “Yingcharaen Charoen Market “. Taradnad Klong Thom2 open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday from 02.00 p.m.(14.00) until 10.00 p.m.(22.00).This market established by Khun Suwapea Thamwattana in B.E.2498(A.D.1955).

great market here. you can try local food, shop for clothes and footwear, buy ingredients for cooking, mobile stuff, etc. we got our phone screen protector replaced and it looks as good as new. amazed. the food here is so flavorful and interesting. the pork knuckle here melts in your mouth. the deep fried food here is crispy and delicious. durian is creamy and sweet. the jelly with coconut milk drink is fulfilling.

very clean and well organized fresh market with separate areas for each category of items to make it more convenient for shoppers to shop eg fresh fruits, meat, food court or household items. The food court even has washing basins available to enhance hygiene and cleanliness for diners. The place is also right next to BTS Sapanmai station so you can come here very easily at any time of day

Loving this wet market place. It’s located slight far from downtown Bangkok, but definitely worth the trip. The market is huge, organized and very clean. They have different section for veggies, spices, dried goods and meat/seafood. There are also many food vendors in sight. Since the place is huge, it is very easy to go around and not feeling too crowded.

Love the atmosphere of this wet & dry market! Everything looks fresh and lots to see, from dried food to sauces to fish and meat. There’s also vendors selling street food, clothings, shoes, accessories to cosmetics. And there’s also a small eating area here too for resting with delicious Thai desserts. Glad I made a stop here to check this place out.

Few minutes walk from Big C Supercenter. Many things to buy. You can sit and enjoy the varieties of food from the stalls. There’s also a wet market where you could buy vegetables and meat products. What is more, there is a Thai massage where you could relax after walking.
