Khung Kraben Bay Mangrove Forest Education Center — Attraction in Chanthaburi Province

Very nice mangrove forest walk, some educational signboards too.

Probably one of the nicer mangrove boardwalks that I’ve been on. Firstly there are many different kinds of mangroves, then the boardwalk is in very good condition, and I like how it’s been built around some of the mangroves, even surrounding some of the larger trunks. Then almost the entire walkway is shaded by the foliage above, and there are several educational signboards in Thai and English explaining how this area has carefully been reforested, and the importance of mangroves on the costal ecosystem.

Note, parking is a bit weird. Best is to park along the main street next to the entrance. There are a few parking spots behind the street vendors by the entrance, but I think you are not supposed to park there. Don’t drive into the small street on the right side, although it’s paved, it will not lead to a...

Here we have a beautiful sea front picnic area...we have a big educational aquarium ....with many different marine life...sea Rays...etc..we have mangroves where sea life began...we have fresh water/sea water prawn farms...a very beautiful temple...on various Buddhist calendar dates..there are prayers after sunset which can heard over the loud speakers...Truly peaceful bliss...gentle sea breeze,fishing boats lit with their night lights in the distance...we have the pier where there is a marine rescue centre which takes care of large marine life trapped in fishing nets, turtles recovering from Trauma..sometime sharks as well...we have the Royal agricultural learning centre for organic farming..a very vast area...totally chemical and pesticide free...from here I buy most of the the vegetables in season as well as fruits...I will post...

🌊 ถ้าใครมาเที่ยวจันทบุรีแล้วอยากได้ฟีลธรรมชาติแบบลึกซึ้ง ต้องไม่พลาดที่นี่เลย ศูนย์ศึกษาธรรมชาติป่าชายเลนอ่าวคุ้งกระเบน มีสะพานไม้ยาวกว่า 1.6 กม. ให้เดินลัดเลาะเข้าไปในป่าชายเลนอย่างใกล้ชิด ทั้งพืชพรรณและสัตว์น้ำอย่างปลาตีน ปูแสม หรือแม้แต่นกหายากก็เจอได้

🐾 จุดเด่นคือเดินสบาย มีศาลาให้พักเป็นระยะๆ และมีป้ายให้ความรู้ตลอดทาง ใครพาเด็กมาเรียนรู้ธรรมชาติก็เหมาะมาก หรือจะเดินถ่ายรูปชิล ๆ ก็เพลินไม่แพ้กัน

🏞️ ไฮไลต์อีกจุดคือหอชมวิวสูงที่ปลายทาง มองเห็นวิวอ่าวคุ้งกระเบนแบบกว้างสุดลูกหูลูกตา ฟีลดีมาก โดยรวมแล้วเป็นที่เที่ยวสายรักษ์โลกที่ได้ทั้งความรู้และความสงบใจในเวลาเดียวกัน
