Great place to have some chill and tranquility. Though it is a bit dried out during winter months, beware of that. Still it looks so nice and peaceful. There is a lake nearby with a nice scenery. Almost no people around, beautiful bird chirping, some peacocks in the vicinity. If you wonder where to go for a walk, try this one. The entry is free.

Interesting walk from Monks Trail. A few things to see at top,. Water & toilets but no proper food at the moment. Can Songthaew to Old City 100 Bht or at start of trail for 50 Bht .. or walk from Old City & back like I did. Working Wat so no shorts requested etc

Beautiful walk to Wat. Muddy but has stoney, well marked trail. First 30 minutes fairly easy, last 15-20 to Wat were a little steeper. Bring water. Fairly busy with locals running the trail and tourists walking. Toilet at Wat complex but not...
