An enchanting Chinese style complex which is seemingly overlooked by a lot of visitors to Chiang Mai. Not far from the inner city it is worth a visit being so colourful and very different from so many of the other temples. There are a variety of shrines here and a dragon waiting for you to enter it's mouth and walk through it's body which lined with detailed paintings. Always on my list of temples to revisit when I come to Chiang Mai.

A colorful and quiet place with large dragon and tiger sculptures. You can go inside the dragon and see a lot of pictures about the life of Buddha. There were neither tourists nor locals when I was there about 1 hour, only a few employees. The temple located is not in the center, but it's quite easy to get to. Worth a visit at least once.

■ 24년 10월 25일 방문 - 아름다운 중국식 건축 양식과 평온한 분위기로 유명한 치앙마이의 명소 - 8.3미터 높이의 관음보살 목조 조각상을 만나볼 수 있으며, 사방에 다양한 신의 조각들이 배치 - 용의 입 안을 지나가는 독특한 경험을 제공하는데, 통로 내부는 다양한 밝은 색채의 벽화로 장식되어 있으며, 이는 부처님의 생애와 불교적 상징들을 묘사함 - 방문객들은 이 벽화들 사이를 지나며 경건한 마음으로 참배하며 내적 평화를 찾을 수 있음 - 통로는 용의 몸 속을 따라 이어지다가 그 끝에서 예배당으로 연결됨(계단 위로~) - 이 여정을 통해 방문객들은 불교 신앙의 심오한 가르침을 상징적으로 체험하게 됨 - 관세음보살 주위를 3바퀴돌며 "나무관세음보살"을 말하라고 태국 현지인이 알려줌 - "나무"는 불교에서 경건한 마음으로 예경을 드리는 의미의 "귀의합니다"를 뜻하고, - "관세음보살"은 자비와 구제를 상징하는 관세음보살을 가리킴 ** 용 중간쯤 가면 안좋은 냄새가 조금 남 ** 용이 생각보다 길어서 혼자 들어가면 조금 무서웠음 ** 아이들이 함께라면, 사찰이 아니라 놀이공원같은 느낌으로 좋아할 듯 함

Beautiful place but they hold 2 huge dogs. The dogs started to fight and I had to run a way like a dog. I had to sneak to get my shoes back. It's a temple but Not a safe place. Really...
