Wat Sri Don Chai является частным храмом Mahanikaya.

Он был построен в 1917 году. В прошлом храм находился на аллювиальной равнине, поэтому в сезон дождей наводнения каждый год.

Внутри храма прославленная почтенная статуя Будды Шалеум Сирирай. Это считается самой высокой и самой большой статуей Будды северного региона.
