Don’t come if you weigh over 100kg
Context: Aussie couple, my fourth trip to Thailand, my partner’s upteenth time, our first time to Pattaya. I love Bangkok but feeling so-so about the whole Pattaya experience so far. Thailand isn’t as cheap as it used to be.
So now the review: it starts with the grab driver taking you to the park once they realise where you are going: “do you have ticket yet? I can get you a good discount”. Eyes roll.
Chaos upon arrival as I get bag and weight checked but my partner of similar size does not.
Weight is an issue at this park: we checked in advance about weight limits and the website indicates a limit of 120kg. I’ve worked hard to lose weight recently and am not embarrassed to say my current weight is 110kg. But today on the scales at THIS park though: suddenly I’m fat-shamed back to 119kg! THEN the “helpful lady” who weighed me showed me a sign telling me what rides I could and couldn’t use, magically (i.e. with a texta marker) most rides had changed to less than 120kg limit. Then she took a PHOTO of me and this sign as my “contract” that I acknowledge what I can and can’t do once inside. By this time my partner had already entered the park, looking back at me wondering what the problem was, but no way out.
So i’m inside and doing the best I can, some rides we are allowed on, some not. Some rides we make the mistake to not get a token first or whatever, not that there’s any clear instructions.
By the way, when the attendants keep yelling “2!” at you, I’m pretty sure it means cross your feet. I think. Even in the lazy river.
Fast-forward to later in the day when I go to use a slide where the limit (according to the texta marker, remember!) is still 120kg. The ride attendant here suddenly insists the weight limit is 100kg and I’m not allowed to go.
There’s about 10 rides in total, I think I did 3 slides in total plus the lazy river.
Otherwise a fairly chaotic experience. Don’t bother trying to work out the signs telling you what tubes are for what ride and where to collect the tube and where to go to ride etc. Instead just grab a tube and go. There’s one ghostbuster tower on the LH side of the park, one jumanji tower in the back. Just let the staff tell you the rest (no need to/please don’t try to think for yourself!)
Only exception/advice is to be prepared for the big ghostbuster ride. First it opens at 11.40 or 12.00 or 1.00 depending on which sign you choose to believe. This is a big multi-seater tube/boat, maximum weight 200kg for the total tube/boat, and they check thoroughly. Thus: 1) long line at the station, 2) then weight check, 3) then trying to make a full boat (to maximise capacity per boat, which makes sense), 4) then you get a tag to wear around your neck, 5) then YOU as the guest need to take your giant tube/boat to another part of the park where an attendant takes it and sends it up the tower on a mechanism, 6) then you climb the tower, 7) give your tag to the attendant then you can finally ride. Only 7 overly complicated steps to ride fun fun fun! NOTE: don’t miss any steps, and don’t try to do it in any other order, or else chaos ensues!
So now this part of the review is subjective, but I really struggled with all the Russians in this park. I know the war crimes committed by Russia against the Ukraine are not every individual holiday maker from Russia’s fault, but I felt uncomfortable. It seems strange that most of the world has blocked Russian access, but Thailand welcomes them with open arms. I guess money is money!
Which is my general sentiment for this park: fat westerners are welcome to pay for the entry to this park but not to enjoy the experience, at least not fully. Well, the park was no where near full yet the attendants struggled with the throughput of visitors, and this is during xmas/new year holidays. I wonder what the future holds...

If you have children (especially girls), do not bring them to Cartoon Network Amazone! When you are harassed by a man, they take no action against it. My sister and I were grabbed, pushed, and harassed. We were floating in the wave pool when a man hit my sister in the face to get her out of his and his wife’s way. We tried to say “excuse me,” but instead he started mocking us. We watched him push another Thai woman with her child. He grabbed my ankle and yanked me out of his way as well. This man must have been under the influence of alcohol or thought his actions were acceptable towards minors. When we explained the situation to the lifeguards, the lifeguards did absolutely NOTHING. When we explained the situation to the welcome center, they talked to the man but did not kick him out of the park. This behavior is completely unacceptable in a water park aimed towards CHILDREN. Since no one at the park did anything for the situation, we had to call the police for minor harassment. We went to the police station, and they could not help anything. The owner of the park said that the cameras “could not zoom in” on this man abusing us. This park is corrupt; do not take your children here.
หนึ่งในประสบการณ์ที่เลวร้ายที่สุด

Read moreI bought my tickets through Klook App. Price is cheaper online. You get a free coke if you show that you’ve liked their Facebook page. You have to let the Cashier know at the entrance so she could put the free coke into your wristband.
They don’t allow water bottles inside. You have to leave it and get it back when you’re finished.
They have a wide area for parking so it won’t be a problem. You can use grab to get here if you don’t know the area.
If you plan to use a bike. Be mindful because there’s always a Police stop checking if you have a white face and take your money if you don’t have your license with you.
For purchasing food, you change your cash to the cashier and they put the credit to your wristband. You can also refund the remaining balance in one of their stalls around the area.
I’ve put the menu up in my photos for their food prices. It ranges from 150-300 Baht. Even if you just want waffle with Ice Cream, it’s 248 Baht. 😏
So for the adult slides, they have a high Towers Stairs with the 5th as the Top Tower but the count is 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5. So it’s really high. It will be inconvenient for Seniors if they wanted to try.
The slides start at 4.5 Tower floor and 5th Tower floor only. 2 slides on the 5th and 4 slides on the 4.5. Plus you have to carry the raft with you on 4 of those slides.
Nevertheless, it was super fun. Just didn’t like the part when it’s so dark inside you don’t know when you’re going to be dropped.
Jumanji Area has 3 slides and of course the stairs but it’s not as tiring like the Tower Stairs hahaha.
Kids must be 120 cm tall to participate on the Adult Slides. Minimum weight for all slides is 40 kilos, maximum i forgot.
You can either leave your belongings on one of the tables around to do the slides. Or choose to purchase the locker for 300 Baht and is a long walk back to the Adult Slides haha.
So many sun beds around the area that is free. So it was good and relaxing at the same time.
They’re open from 10 AM to 6 PM. All I can say is, it’s worth the money spent! Definitely coming back here with friends, family and...
